1. How do I get into the lottery and try to see the tuna auction on the lower floor?
At the beginning of the month prior to your scheduled visit, there will be a lottery for viewing the tuna auction from the lower floor. We will send you a link to apply for the lottery. Please use this link to submit your application.
Follow the instructions on the application link and provide the full names and birthdates of all participants. Applications can include up to five people. If your group has four or fewer participants, please also include the name of your guide. The guide's name will be provided to you in advance.
2. Can you apply for a tuna auction on our behalf?
Normally, we receive a large number of applicants, so unfortunately our company could not make applications on your behalf.
3. Unfortunately I missed the lottery to register for the lottery. How should Ido?
Don’t worry about it.You can enjoy the tuna auction from the 2nd floor, even though you don’t have a ticket won by the lottery.
4. There are no lottery slots available for a few days at the end of December, but can I still go to the first floor?
Due to the market's rule, the lottery application from 25-30th for the lower deck are closed. But we can see the auction from the upper deck from 25 to 30. When we will have update, we will inform you.
5. Can I change the participants after the lottery on the first floor of the auction has been drawn?
As a rule, it is not possible to change the name on the ticket after you have won it, but you can negotiate with the Toyosu Market staff on the day. Please consult with your guide.
6. I'd like to change the meeting place from Shijo-mae Station to a hotel. Can we do it?
Yes, you can. If you choose to meet at the hotel, the meeting time is 5:00AM, and if you choose to meet at Shijo-mae Station, the meeting time is 5:20AM. Please change the meeting place and time on your tour application.
7. When will I know if I won the auction observation lottery?
Usually around the middle of the month prior your visiting month. Please follow the link we sent you to check your results.
8. If I win the auction lottery, what should I bring on the day?
Could you please bring the passports of all participants? Also, please bring warm cloths for the lower observation deck.
9. Is the transportation fee included?
This tour does not include the transportation fee. In the early morning, there is no trains or subways, buses. So we need to use a taxi.
